DIY Kawaii Band-Aid Case

Hey Kawaii-ers! I'm here with a DIY. I always carry band-aids with me, and carrying them without anything can crumple them, and when I carry them in an old medicine/pill case, people think I'm a pill-popper or drug dealer. So what can a kawaii-lover do to jazz things up and clear their name or false acusations? KAWAII-IFY IT! This easy DIY costs pretty much nothing, and can be used on pretty much any plastic surface. Enjoy!
Materials Needed:
-Orange pill case w/ cap
-Clear Nail Polish
-Nail Polish Color of Choice (I used black, but you can use pink, purple, blue, etc.)
-Kawaii sticker(s)
-Glitter, rhinestones, etc. (optional)
^Domo-kun!!
Steps:
1)Paint the desired surface (pill cap and case, seperated) with the nail polish color of choice. Let dry
2) Once dry, put the sticker(s), glitter, rhinestones, etc. over the nail polish.
3)Paint a clear nail polish over the sticker(s) and colored polish. Let dry.
Show the world your kawaii band-aid case! Never be caught without 'em!

P.S. I took the pictures with my iPod touch, so the quality is meh. Sorry everyone!

Tumblr/Instagram Kawaii Round-Up of the Week

[Just look up the account names on Instagram/Tumblr to find them...]
[I don't own the images; I just took a screen shot]

Turning Kawaii!

Hey! So this is a bit random, but this post will be about simple was to kawaii your life! These ideas won't hurt your wallet or completely change your life, so if you want to ease into a kawaii life, this post will be really helpful!

1) Stickers
Stickers are a really simple and easy way to add cuteness into your everyday life. Put some kawaii stickers (you can get them off of eBay or other trusted kawaii sites.. I'll compile a list eventually) on your notebooks, papers, pencil sharpeners, or even your nails! I put a few in my phone's case, DS (I have the original. Yup... I love my dad!) and Gameboy Advance SP.

2) School Supplies
This is super fun and kawaii! Just pick up some cute notebooks, pens/pencils, folders and more featuring kawaii characters such as Rilakkuma, Hello Kitty, Kamio Fairy Tale World, etc. I especially love Sanrio pens that have lots of color inks in each pen. Thy range from $5-7 USD, but trust me, they last a long time. I still have a few from two years ago! Pencil toppers are cute, too. I have Pokémon and Hello Kitty ones that I can't live without. You can get these off of eBay.

3) Hair Accessories
Headbands, clips and bows are a perfect choice for a kawaii lover. Look for headbands with bows, flowers, mini top hats, feathers, etc. Clips with rhinestones or bows are also a subtle yet cute way to vamp up your kawaii outfits. Bows with lace, cute prints or bright colors are my favorite! I have lots of hair stuff from Claire's and Forever21.

4) Bags
Bags are part of everyday life: shopping bags, hand bags, backpacks... We use them all the time. So why can't we make them kawaii? These can be a bit expensive (or at least for a high schooler...), but are totally worth it. I have a Hello Kitty lunch box and cute food containers with Cinnamoroll on them. If you don't want to spend lots of money, then just put on some cute pins, buttons, and keychains for a nice touch to your favorite bag :)

Hope this helps! がんばって!
